What you will do
- Respond to and resolve Jira service desk tickets involving hardware, software, and user access.
- Diagnose and resolve end-user device issues on macOS and Windows.
- Set up, image, and distribute laptops and peripherals.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, access removal, and equipment collection.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and process workflows.
- Assist with system improvement, automation, and infrastructure upgrade initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or technical program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking, device configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
Nice to have
- Prior academic, internship, or volunteer experience providing IT support.
- Basic knowledge of IT security concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Interest in CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or JAMF 100 certifications.
