Principal Engineer AI SDK (Linux/RISC-V)

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and productionize embedded AI software stacks for Linux-based RISC-V AI hardware.
• Lead the design and implementation of an end-to-end Linux SDK, including board support packages, kernel drivers, and developer tooling.
• Drive firmware and operating system bring-up for AI-enabled SoC platforms.
• Optimize neural network acceleration and connect SoC hardware with production frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Establish automated testing, system observability, and CI/CD pipelines for SDK integration and performance regression testing.
• Build technical consensus across hardware, software, and other functions without direct authority.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, hardware architecture, Linux-based SDKs, ML systems, or related fields.
• BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• Deep expertise in CPU and SoC architecture, memory hierarchies, Linux, open-source software development, and power management.
• Experience applying these technologies to AI/ML workloads and a track record of technical leadership.
• Familiarity with MLIR-based toolchains, IREE, TVM, TFLite, or equivalent AI compiler infrastructure.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to adapt technical depth for different audiences.
