TL;DR
Senior Azure Data Engineer (Azure/Databricks): Designing and maintaining data infrastructure, pipelines, data models, and distributed storage solutions with an accent on data quality, scalable processing, and Azure-based engineering. Focus on building PySpark pipelines, optimizing distributed systems, implementing database schemas, and establishing data engineering standards.
Location: India — Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, Coimbatore, or Bengaluru
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure and systems on Azure.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, analysis, and data quality.
- Design data models and database schemas aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and optimize distributed systems and data storage solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements and use cases.
- Define and maintain data engineering best practices and standards.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience in data engineering.
- Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
- Databricks, Python, and PySpark.
- DevOps experience.
- Experience with P&G frameworks such as AI Factory, Ultimate, or Pygentic.
