Senior Cloud Engineer (GCP/AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform): Building and operating secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure with an accent on infrastructure as code, observability, security remediation, and cloud economics. Focus on managing GKE/EKS environments, improving incident response and reliability metrics, automating drift remediation, and optimizing infrastructure spend.

What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and version Terraform infrastructure modules for GCP and AWS services.
- Manage networking foundations, including VPCs, DNS, IAM, GKE/EKS clusters, compute instances, secure base images, and container standards.
- Maintain infrastructure observability backends covering metrics, logs, and alerting.
- Participate in capacity planning, stress testing, infrastructure on-call, incident response, post-mortems, and toil-reduction initiatives.
- Execute vulnerability remediation, security patching, access reviews, and compliance monitoring.
- Identify cloud rightsizing and reserved-instance opportunities and monitor regional spend anomalies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or platform operations.
- Hands-on experience operating infrastructure at scale in GCP and AWS.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes, including GKE.
- Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with security patching, access controls, error budgets, and SLOs based on Google SRE principles.
- Ability to participate in infrastructure on-call and meet defined incident response, availability, patching, and remediation targets.
