Director of Systems Integration (Quantum Hardware)

What you will do

• Lead, recruit, manage, and mentor senior technical leads and engineers across Systems Engineering, HPC Integration, Ecosystem Management, Advanced Packaging, and RF Engineering.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-year commercial quantum hardware integration projects involving partner co-design.
• Build relationships with senior engineering leaders at customer and partner organizations.
• Identify and reduce technical, timeline, cost, and compatibility risks across third-party hardware suppliers and integration partners.
• Establish and scale standardized engagement frameworks for integration projects, partner training, logistics, and related processes.
• Work with Business Development to assess technical feasibility, resource allocation, and timelines for strategic commercial proposals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Microelectronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of technical leadership experience, including direct management of multidisciplinary engineering teams in complex hardware environments.
• Experience delivering customer-facing, multidisciplinary projects involving technology integration, co-design, and high-capital equipment deployment.
• Deep expertise in HPC systems integration, advanced semiconductor packaging, or supercomputing infrastructure, including areas such as thermal budgets, high-density RF signal routing, cryogenics, or compute scaling.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, including the ability to present to executive leadership and connect business goals with physical hardware constraints.
• Proactive, detail-oriented leadership style and the ability to build high-performing engineering teams.
