Frontend Engineer (Fintech)

Location: On-site in the Mexico City office in Roma Norte or the New York City office in Tribeca; remote work is not available.

hirify.global is a profitable consumer fintech and e-commerce platform in Mexico building an AI-native credit-powered platform to increase consumers' buying power across Latin America.

What you will do

• Own major user-facing app surfaces, including onboarding, checkout, payments, and credit flows, from design partnership through production monitoring.
• Ship experiments that improve activation and conversion, and analyze the results in product data.
• Set standards for frontend performance, reliability, polish, testing, and code review.
• Use Claude Code and other agentic tools as a default workflow and automate repetitive frontend work.
• Work directly with design, product, and founders in a lean engineering organization.

Requirements

• Substantial experience shipping consumer-facing mobile or web products in production at scale.
• Deep fluency with a modern frontend stack such as React or React Native, or an equivalent framework.
• Experience owning features from ambiguous ideas through measurable production impact.
• Strong product judgment and accountability for complete user-facing surfaces.
• Working proficiency in English for engineering documentation and communication.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mexico City or New York City; remote work is not an option.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, checkout, or other money-moving flows.
• Daily use of Claude Code or other agentic coding tools.
• Frontend ownership in a startup or small team.
• Experience moving conversion or activation metrics.
