Test Senior Specialist (Maternity Leave Replacement) (Manual Testing)

What you will do

• Design, prepare, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios against business and functional requirements.
• Perform manual functional and regression testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers and other stakeholders through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to validate requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies in collaboration with automation teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing, focused on functional and regression testing.
• Good understanding of manual testing principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Quality Center, or ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, ALM, or Polarion.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation and testing activities.
• Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
• Italian language proficiency at C1 level or higher is mandatory.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn and improve.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Foundation Certification or higher.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and modern software development practices.
• Exposure to automation frameworks or scripting.
