Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York

Develops a proprietary platform that turns complex AI systems and agent workflows into usable software.

What you will do

• Own the frontend layer of the Crucible platform, including interfaces, workflows, templates, and architecture.
• Turn loosely defined technical requirements and feature ideas into polished product surfaces.
• Build reusable components and product patterns for FDE and customer delivery projects.
• Improve interaction patterns, frontend performance, clarity, speed, and trust in complex agent workflows.
• Design, ship, and maintain new frontend building blocks rather than one-off UI implementations.
• Collaborate with FDEs and delivery teams while making independent product and technical decisions.

Requirements

• Approximately 4+ years of frontend engineering experience with independent product-building ability.
• Production experience with React, TypeScript, and modern web architecture.
• Strong UX judgment, visual polish, and design instincts without requiring a designer title.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound trade-offs, and clearly explain technical and product decisions.
• Experience building products where usability, speed, and quality were important.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York.
