Senior Solutions Engineer - SLED

Location: US-Virginia-Remote

Salary: $171,000–$205,000 annual base salary, with eligibility for a sales commission plan.

What you will do

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings through post-sales customer success, upselling, and subscription renewals.
• Discover customer use cases and gather requirements from State, Local, and Higher Education organizations.
• Design solutions using hirify.global technologies, reference architectures, and common implementation patterns.
• Create and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and product roadmap presentations.
• Partner with Account Managers and internal teams to communicate solution value and support successful sales.
• Advocate for customer needs with Product Management and Engineering and participate in conferences, webinars, meetups, and other evangelism activities.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in pre-sales.
• Experience with Big Data, data warehousing, relational databases, data engineering, data science, machine learning, enterprise operations, security, or data governance.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as private cloud infrastructure and distributed container platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Spark, Airflow, NiFi, Kafka, Flink, Unix, or Linux.
• Understanding of the US Public Sector and its data, analytics, regulations, and authorization frameworks, including FISMA, RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140, FedRAMP, and STIG.
• This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and customer-requirements analysis skills are required.
