Salary: $180,000–$230,000 base annually, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Design and deploy causal inference models for underwriting and portfolio management.
• Build algorithms for credit pricing, personalization, and ranking.
• Develop production-grade models that directly influence consumer credit access and company margins.
• Lead ML infrastructure projects and ensure model observability and operational excellence.
• Balance statistical rigor with rapid delivery in a high-stakes credit environment.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in statistics, machine learning, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.
• Deep understanding of classification, forecasting, optimization, and causal inference theory.
• At least 5 years of experience applying data science in production environments.
• Production-grade Python and SQL skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in NYC.
