TL;DR
Technical Staff (AI/Robotics): Developing and scaling distributed Python services and data pipelines to improve AI models for robots with an accent on robustness, scalability, and performance. Location
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (San Mateo) or Boston (Somerville), on-site
Salary
Salary: $200K – $350K per year, with equity offers

What you will do
- Design and implement new ideas to improve system robustness, scalability, and speed
- Overhaul existing systems to handle 10x scale growth
- Develop business logic for robot data delivery and customer access
- Work with distributed Python services and cloud infrastructure at scale
- Train and validate ML models integrated with robotic systems
Requirements
- Location: must work on-site in San Mateo or Somerville
- Extensive experience building complex distributed applications or data pipelines at scale
- Expertise in Python, distributed infrastructure, and modern ML fundamentals
- Experience with large-scale ML training and production deployments
- Knowledge of cloud networking, permissions, and Kubernetes container orchestration
