Overview

The Digital Hub is part of the Strategy and Technology area, playing a prominent role in the transformation into a media tech and D2C company, taking care of data management and the development of digital products such as Globoplay, Globo.com and Cartola. We work with a variety of technologies and languages and aim to share solutions with the tech community.

What you will do

• Write clean, easily maintainable code, using the best software development practices.
• Strive to create the best user experience for Globo products, working closely with UX specialists.
• Act as a team player, committed to team goals and working harmoniously with everyone.
• Continuously grow and develop technically and professionally.
• Participate in geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

• Skills in algorithms and data structures.
• Knowledge of software engineering, such as principles, best practices, and architectural patterns.
• Experience with scalable application development.
• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Node, React, Angular, Vue, Redux, and Vanilla JS.
• Experience with versioning tools (such as GIT and SVN).
• Experience writing tests.
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, SQL, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience with agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of a backend programming language: Python, Golang, Java, Ruby, Elixir, Scala, Clojure, C/C++, C#, etc.
• Interest in programming at all levels of the technology stack.
• Experience with Cloud, such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
