Functional Training Coordinator (Fintech)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid with three days per week in-office (Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day of choice). Extra remote time may be requested.

Salary: Starting from €35,000 gross per annum; final compensation depends on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Assess fintech learning needs and translate product and regulatory changes into capability gaps and training strategies.
• Build and maintain role-based curricula covering payments, lending, KYC/AML, licensing, and consumer protection.
• Coordinate internal subject matter experts and external providers, including schedules, logistics, budgets, and communications.
• Keep training content accurate and aligned with evolving products, regulations, and policies.
• Measure participation, learning outcomes, and program effectiveness through defined KPIs and feedback.
• Support onboarding and collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and FinCrime functions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in learning and development, enablement, or program/project management.
• Working knowledge of financial regulations and the fintech landscape.
• Ability to independently manage multiple training initiatives and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with learning management systems and practical approaches to measuring learning effectiveness.
• Fluent English required for communication with international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Instructional design experience or a background in compliance or risk.
• Italian language skills.
