What you will do
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and testing of native Android applications for complex technical projects.
- Create scalable and maintainable software specifications and architectural designs using modern Android best practices.
- Drive long-term technical strategies aligned with organizational objectives and Android ecosystem trends.
- Improve application performance, security, quality, and user experience.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop next-generation mobile solutions.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction, innovation, and talent development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, including 7+ years focused on native Android development.
- Expert-level Kotlin and Java skills, with deep knowledge of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with Jetpack libraries, including Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Room, and Navigation.
- Strong knowledge of MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture, plus dependency injection with Dagger or Hilt.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests using tools such as JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito, as well as familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines.
