Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, Cairo office, Egypt

What you will do

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments.
• Lead containerization and orchestration strategy using Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and security practices.
• Design hybrid cloud networking solutions involving VPCs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, PrivateLink, Direct Connect, and AWS Secure VPN.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment for applications and infrastructure.
• Develop modular, version-controlled infrastructure-as-code for scalable multi-region environments using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting, collaborate on production releases, and mentor junior DevOps engineers.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, and networking services.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS or an equivalent platform.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Experience designing DevOps strategies and infrastructure roadmaps.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or an equivalent language.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, plus knowledge of security best practices and fintech compliance standards.
