Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; on-site. Weekend second shift: Friday through Sunday, 6:00 pm–6:00 am.
Salary: $103,000–$166,000 per year, including a 15% shift differential.

What you will do
- Lead weekend manufacturing operations as the primary technical leader for the production team.
- Balance production demands with safety and quality, including stopping work when necessary.
- Train, coach, and develop technicians on high-precision manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and document non-conformances, resolve process drift, and escalate design or system failures.
- Identify gaps in work instructions and drive process clarity and improvement.
- Maintain production flow, shift readiness, and availability of tools, materials, and technical direction.
Requirements
- BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent high-level technical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.
- Proficiency with NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM.
- Experience with Jira, Slack, Odoo, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems, preferably in a first-of-a-kind or rapidly scaling environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Devens, Massachusetts, including required nights, weekends, and occasional on-call work; ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Nice to have
- 8+ years of experience in high-complexity assembly environments.
- Experience with insulation systems such as stator winding, VPI processes, taping, or high-voltage isolation.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and failure modes and effects analysis.
