What you will do
- Own the commercial collections strategy for corporate cards, working capital lines, and term loans.
- Monitor daily delinquency metrics, identify high-risk accounts, and lead targeted outreach.
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and restructures within the company’s risk appetite.
- Partner with Risk, Underwriting, Customer Success, and Legal to address warning signs, enforcement, litigation, and collateral recovery.
- Ensure compliance with commercial debt collection laws, UCC lien processes, and contractual obligations.
- Improve collections workflows, systems, and policies to increase efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial collections, credit risk, or portfolio management.
- Experience meeting or exceeding recovery targets in a B2B lending environment.
- Strong understanding of secured and unsecured lending, UCC filings, lien enforcement, and business credit agreements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a professional approach to customer relationships.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-growth, fast-changing environment.
