What you will do

• Conduct fundamental research on cooperative perception for networked autonomous vehicles.
• Study the principles and content of data transmitted between connected autonomous vehicles.
• Develop machine learning approaches for cross-vehicle sensor fusion, perception, and decision-making.
• Design AI-assisted algorithms and communication protocols for connected cars and support patent applications.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions and support real-world trials.
• Investigate the market and contribute to connected-car business model development.

Requirements

• PhD in electrical engineering or computer science.
• Good spoken English.
• Knowledge of wireless network communication systems.
• Experience with autonomous driving development, including image or lidar perception, sensor fusion, and autonomous driving algorithms.
• Knowledge of AI architectures and algorithms.
• Programming capability in MATLAB or Python.
