What you will do
- Lead engineering squads building production-grade AI agent features, including LLM proxies, MCP server orchestration, and A2A protocol governance.
- Translate the agent-first product vision into secure technical solutions using API and event management capabilities.
- Partner with Product Management to shape strategy, roadmap, and solutions based on customer needs.
- Guide architecture and code reviews while promoting AI-assisted development, automated testing, and high quality standards.
- Hire and coach engineers, foster customer-centric execution, and align team objectives with enterprise goals.
- Drive resolution of software quality defects and communicate across departments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise.
- Experience leading technical squads while contributing to architectural decisions.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, SDLC, and architecture across infrastructure, API, security, data, integration, and application layers.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their intersection with API infrastructure, including AI agents, A2A protocol, and MCP.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and execution skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with API Management, Identity and Access Management, or B2B software sold to central IT.
- Strong CI/CD and DevOps background.
- Experience leading distributed or remote-first teams and using data and KPIs to improve performance.
- Experience with Large Scale Scrum or similar scaled agile frameworks.
- Background in cloud-native platforms, AI-enabled systems, or open source.
