Engineering Manager (iGaming)

What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams through Team Leads and collaborate with Product Managers, Operations, Test Managers, and other stakeholders.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and performance-manage Team Leads and engineers while addressing skills gaps and maintaining balanced teams.
• Define team structures based on small, autonomous agile teams and manage training, travel, and team-building budgets.
• Promote engineering best practices, manage technical debt and aging code risks, and contribute to technology, tooling, and SDLC decisions.
• Ensure teams deliver against the tribe roadmap, technology principles, compliance requirements, and agreed operational SLAs.
• Oversee quality improvement, engineering KPIs, incident management, root-cause analysis, knowledge sharing, and remedial work.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an engineering leadership role and 5+ years in a senior software engineering position.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams, working with SaaS products, and collaborating with cross-functional technology teams.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including relevant agile metrics.
• Experience defining goals and targets through KPIs.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools, especially Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with OKRs and the SAFe framework.
• Basic knowledge of human psychology and business or domain-specific experience.
