Finance Leader (AI-Robotics)

Location: Hybrid role based in Stuttgart, Germany, with an on-site visit required during the hiring process.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and optimize financial systems covering cost accounting, controlling, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare board-level financial reports, cash flow statements, liquidity forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses for investor communications.
• Support budgeting, monitoring, forecasting, and strategic financial and investment decisions.
• Identify cost optimization and efficiency improvements across the organization.
• Oversee bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bill payments, receipt processing, dunning, and invoice management.
• Work with Operations, Sales, Engineering, tax consultants, and auditors on financial reporting and statements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Several years of practical finance experience, preferably in investment banking, private equity, consulting, startups, or other dynamic environments.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with ownership, attention to detail, structured working habits, and strong time management.
• Strong communication and pragmatic problem-solving skills in a technology-driven environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Hiring process

• Submit an application and complete a short take-home assignment.
• Attend a 40-minute cultural fit interview and a 60-minute interview with the Finance Director.
• Visit the Stuttgart office for an on-site team and founder meeting, including collaboration on a role-relevant challenge.
