Team Lead (iGaming)

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia; hybrid working arrangement combining home working with time in the office.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a 5–10-person Casino Integrations squad, including one-to-ones, performance management, mentoring, coaching, and probation follow-through.
• Participate in engineering recruitment, assess cultural fit, address skills gaps, and maintain balanced teams.
• Coordinate squad objectives, roadmap delivery, backlog prioritization, on-call schedules, and vacation coverage with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Operations teams.
• Promote engineering best practices, technology principles, sustainable coding practices, and effective development, build, and deployment tooling.
• Manage technical debt, incidents, root-cause analysis, post-incident decisions, bugs, and remedial work while maintaining agreed service levels.
• Measure team performance through agile metrics and drive improvements in delivery predictability, speed, quality, and operational responsibility.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a senior software engineering position.
• Experience mentoring people in engineering teams and working with cross-functional technology teams.
• Experience working with SaaS products.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools, especially JIRA and Confluence.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience working with OKRs.
• Knowledge of the SAFe framework.
• Basic knowledge of human psychology and experience in the iGaming domain.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
