Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: New York, United States; US Remote. The listing also specifies an on-site work setup and a final interview at the NYC headquarters.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and operate core production infrastructure with Terraform, AWS, and EKS.
• Deliver company-wide initiatives including 99.99+% availability, multi-region deployment, and cloud cost optimization.
• Manage infrastructure supporting more than 1 billion API calls per day and hundreds of millions of devices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation of one week every one to two months.
• Speak with customers and prospects, incorporate feedback, and help make customers successful.

Requirements

• Production AWS infrastructure management experience with Terraform.
• Experience operating highly available, multi-region production infrastructure on Kubernetes.
• Experience managing large sharded MongoDB clusters with heavy read-write workloads.
• Experience working at a high-growth startup.
• Interest in speaking with customers or prospects and supporting their success.

Nice to have

• Experience as a technical co-founder.
• Experience with high-throughput, data-intensive applications.
