Senior Manager, Site Operations (Robotics)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; onsite. Ideally based in the Hagerstown/Western Maryland region or within practical commuting proximity.

Annual base salary: $180,000–$210,000 USD, plus potential equity, medical, dental, vision, and other eligible compensation.

What you will do

• Lead site readiness, installation, commissioning, training, support readiness, and operational handoff for a major customer robotics deployment.
• Coordinate systems integrators, subcontractors, vendors, customer stakeholders, and internal teams across Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Field Services, Support, and Commercial.
• Maintain execution plans covering owners, milestones, blockers, risks, dependencies, escalations, and readiness metrics.
• Review technical documentation and audit field execution against requirements, scope, safety documentation, and acceptance criteria.
• Validate commissioning reports, inspection records, test results, training records, customer signoffs, and acceptance documentation.
• Partner with customer operations leaders on workflow design, staffing, throughput objectives, operating windows, utilization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years leading complex technical deployments in robotics, industrial automation, warehouse automation, material handling, infrastructure, or related environments.
• Experience at Senior Manager, Site Execution Lead, Technical Program Manager, Deployment Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership level.
• Strong technical literacy across robotics, automation, controls, electrical and mechanical systems, industrial equipment, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, commissioning plans, acceptance criteria, and project documentation.
• Experience managing vendors, systems integrators, contractors, field service providers, and installation teams.
• Strong project execution, risk management, escalation management, communication, and operational-readiness assessment skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in parcel, logistics, fulfillment, warehouse, distribution center, or high-throughput industrial environments.
• Experience with robotics systems, PLCs, industrial controls, safety systems, MHE, WMS/WES integrations, commissioning, or site acceptance testing.
• PMP, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related certification.
• Experience with go-live readiness, customer acceptance testing, hypercare, or operational stabilization.
