Head of Integration (Embedded Systems)

Location: Hybrid in Kyiv or Lviv, Ukraine

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end integration of third-party systems, including video navigation and communications modules, into the software stack.
• Own the deployment of autonomy software onto customer aerial, ground, and maritime platforms.
• Lead R&D initiatives for new platform integrations and act as the primary technical contact for hardware vendors.
• Build and scale the integration organization across multiple sub-teams, including hiring and developing leads.
• Design predictable integration workflows, delivery estimates, documentation standards, Jira processes, and integration playbooks.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in embedded systems, Linux, hardware platforms, and software-hardware integration.
• Experience managing engineering teams, leading multiple sub-teams, and developing engineering leads.
• Ability to scope, estimate, and deliver integration work systematically.
• Strong documentation, organizational, communication, stakeholder-alignment, and cross-domain collaboration skills.
• Excellent English level required.
• Stress resilience, fast problem-solving, persistence, and an ownership-driven mindset.

Nice to have

• Senior embedded or Linux engineering background with progression into engineering management.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or other hardware-intensive industries.
• Experience working with large hardware vendors or familiarity with UAV platforms and their technical stack.
• Military or volunteer UAV experience.
• Technical degree in electronics, robotics, aviation, or a related field.
