Staff Product Manager (Machine Learning)

Location: Remote from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia, France, Ireland, Portugal, Sweden, or Switzerland. Requires 3–4 hours of overlap with European working hours; suitable time zones include GMT/WET, CET, EET, NST, AST, EST, and CST.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for Vegetation Intelligence.
• Improve detection models and integrate their outputs into outage and ignition risk models.
• Run user research and translate operational decisions made by customers and arborists into product priorities.
• Work with data scientists and ML engineers to turn model capabilities into reliable customer products.
• Define production model quality, communicate technical trade-offs, and build alignment across product and engineering.
• Contribute to the broader product strategy and improve model performance through customer feedback.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience with a record of building and shipping products.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping products powered by machine learning models, including model training, evaluation, improvement, and performance trade-offs.
• Experience shifting technical or scaling-led roadmaps toward customer-driven product development through user research.
• Experience building B2B products that turn data or model outputs into actionable customer decisions.
• Experience leading product strategy, roadmapping, and consensus-building across product, engineering, and data science.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort working in ambiguity and fast-paced startup environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building geospatial products or working with GIS technologies.
• Experience with data products, data pipelines, platforms, and large datasets from multiple sources.
• Experience building image-based machine learning products such as computer vision or image recognition applications.
