Principal Security Specialist (Cybersecurity): Establishing enterprise security standards, reviewing security architecture, and providing technical assurance across cloud, infrastructure, applications, products, and manufacturing environments with an accent on governance, cloud security, and secure development. Focus on defining controls for hybrid infrastructure and connected hardware, embedding security into architecture and deployment practices, and guiding risk-based decisions across technical teams.
Location: Based in Norway at offices in Oslo (Lysaker), Stavanger, or Vindafjord (Nedre Vats)

What you will do
- Review security architecture across cloud, on-premises infrastructure, networks, SaaS, applications, and product environments.
- Define required security controls and provide technical security sign-off for technology initiatives.
- Own and develop enterprise security standards, baselines, governance, and disaster recovery requirements.
- Define security requirements for cloud environments and software development, embedding security into architecture, development, and deployment practices.
- Set cybersecurity standards for manufacturing, laboratory, OT, and connected hardware environments.
- Advise Infrastructure, Applications, Product, and Engineering teams on complex security topics and risk-based decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in security architecture, security engineering, or a senior technical security role.
- Strong experience defining enterprise security architecture, standards, and governance across complex technology environments.
- Experience with cloud security and modern application environments, including IAM, DevSecOps, application security, Zero Trust, and threat modelling.
- Experience working across hybrid infrastructure and engaging with senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to translate security risks into clear requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with manufacturing, OT/ICS, or laboratory environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or GIAC.
