What you will do

  • Lead system integration, testing, validation, and documentation of high-voltage safety and powertrain functions in electric vehicles.
  • Define test plans and test cases, execute system- and vehicle-level tests, and prepare test reports.
  • Validate HV power-up and power-down, pre-charge and active discharge, crash shutdown, insulation management, interlock, service mode, driver information, fault management, and failsafe functions.
  • Support crash vehicle instrumentation, crash testing, post-crash safety checks, and diagnostic-function testing.
  • Coordinate test strategy with powertrain colleagues in Nanjing and collaborate with component owners and the VCU software development team.
  • Lead failure analysis, issue tracking, bug-fix testing, HV safety release documentation, and review of supplier electrical safety reports.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in test and validation of powertrain or high-voltage safety functions.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering is essential; proven expertise may be considered instead.
  • Experience with test strategy, test execution, reporting, system integration, and vehicle-level validation.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety best practices and national standards, including risk assessments, procedures, and operational checklists.
  • Ability to work with laboratory configurations, test procedures, and test automation for system and vehicle testing.
