Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Location: Yerevan, Armenia; Monday-Friday flexible working hours aligned with Armenia.

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams and managers through coaching, professional development, hiring, and talent retention.
• Guide the design, evolution, and operation of scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems spanning multiple services and product domains.
• Review architecture and designs, help teams navigate technical trade-offs, and maintain standards for reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
• Own delivery outcomes from discovery and design through implementation and production, while managing technical debt and platform evolution.
• Build execution roadmaps, identify risks, unblock teams, and drive measurable outcomes in ambiguous problem spaces.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Engineering, and senior leadership teams to coordinate dependencies and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, including senior engineers or managers.
• Strong technical background designing and operating complex distributed systems at scale.
• Experience leading teams through ambiguity and coordinating work across multiple teams, domains, or systems.
• Proven delivery of high-impact, business-critical initiatives from start to finish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies and SQL-based systems is beneficial, along with modern engineering practices such as Git, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and performance monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or SQL Server.
• Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven systems and customer-facing intelligent platforms.
• Experience in fast-paced environments requiring speed, ownership, and adaptability.
