TL;DR
Product Engineer (AI) (Python/Go/Next.js/AWS): Building and scaling an AI agent platform across the orchestration engine, builder UI, backend microservices, and cloud infrastructure with an accent on real-time agent interactions, multi-tenant data systems, and distributed architecture. Focus on designing event-driven services, optimizing MongoDB and network performance, implementing WebSockets and SSE, and operating highly available AWS deployments.
Location: Onsite in Bengaluru, India

What you will do
- Build and maintain the core agent orchestration engine, skill execution, and state management.
- Develop the builder interface with Next.js and implement scalable client/server state management.
- Build real-time communication layers using WebSockets and SSE for live agent interactions.
- Own Python and Go backend microservices, including queues, retries, dead-letter handling, and event-driven workflows.
- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas for multi-tenant, high-throughput workloads.
- Manage AWS infrastructure, deployments, observability, networking, and service reliability.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional experience.
- Strong backend development experience with Python, FastAPI, and Go microservices at scale.
- Experience implementing WebSockets and SSE and diagnosing socket-level issues.
- Experience with MongoDB sharding, indexing, replica sets, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Pub/Sub, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Next.js, CSR/SSR trade-offs, hydration debugging, scalable component architecture, reverse proxying, and build optimization.
- Knowledge of distributed system design, API contracts, service decomposition, scalability, fault tolerance, and SQL/NoSQL data modeling.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI agent frameworks and LLM integration patterns such as prompt chaining, function calling, and structured outputs.
- Experience with Firecracker MicroVMs or E2B-style sandboxed execution.
- Knowledge of agent memory and long-running task orchestration.
