Machine Production Technician (Robotics)

What you will do

• Set up, operate, maintain, and support Roboform robotic sheet-metal forming cells.
• Assemble mechanical frames, sub-assemblies, and complete production cells using released CAD files, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform trimming, deburring, grinding, coating, drilling, tapping, structural modifications, and other finishing operations.
• Install HV/LV wiring, cable routing, electrical enclosures, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems, including hose fabrication.
• Perform functional testing and system integration, including Fanuc and Kuka robot setup.
• Record assembly progress, material usage, and deviations in ERP systems, while contributing to process improvements and cross-training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of fabrication-related experience and 3+ years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic assembly experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics and understand geometric tolerances.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, troubleshooting, hose fabrication, and common hand and power tools.
• Basic computer proficiency, including ERP systems and productivity tools.
• Ability to pass background screening requirements, including ITAR compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial robotic and automated systems, especially Fanuc or Kuka platforms.
• Working knowledge of CAD and PDM systems such as SolidWorks.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 cable and harness assembly proficiency.
• Experience with cranes, forklifts, rigging, and lifting heavy industrial components.
• Precision machining and close-tolerance fit-up experience, including drilling, reaming, countersinking, and tapping.
