Software Engineer in Test (SET)

What you will do

• Own quality strategy, test plans, test suites, and release criteria for the software stack.
• Execute smoke tests, regression tests, and system validation for release candidates.
• Design and maintain automated testing and validation pipelines integrated with CI/CD.
• Serve as release authority by approving or blocking production releases.
• Support Azure deployments, monitoring, initial issue response, and software troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with software, robotics, and automation engineers on production-cell deployments and large-scale release validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable practical experience.
• Experience testing software systems and writing test scripts or test code.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks or tools.
• Ability to debug issues across software and automation interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience testing industrial automation systems, robotics, or hardware-software integrated products.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, versioned deployments, and release validation.
• Experience supporting production deployments and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Experience in small, fast-moving engineering teams where quality ownership is critical.
