Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site in the office five days a week
Annual starting salary: $135,000β$160,000, plus equity and benefits.

is a program manager that partners with FDIC- and OCC-regulated issuing banks to design and deliver co-branded credit and debit card programs.
What you will do
- Own intake, triage, categorization, investigation, resolution, and documentation for direct and agency consumer complaints.
- Draft investigation summaries and clear, defensible consumer responses.
- Manage complaint deadlines, escalations, monthly reporting for bank partners, and quarterly findings for the Compliance Committee and Board.
- Analyze complaint trends and perform root cause analysis across servicing errors, product defects, disclosure gaps, workflows, and control failures.
- Drive corrective actions with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Customer Experience through validated closure.
- Improve complaint tooling, workflows, automation, procedures, templates, agent guidance, and examination readiness.
Requirements
- 4β7 years of experience in consumer compliance, complaint management, consumer advocacy, disputes, or a related function in banking, fintech, credit cards, lending, or payments.
- Hands-on experience investigating and resolving consumer complaints, including regulatory and agency complaints in a regulated financial services environment.
- Working knowledge of Regulation Z, Regulation E, Regulation B, UDAAP, FCRA, and FDCPA.
- Demonstrated root cause analysis and experience driving corrective action across functions without direct management authority.
- Excellent written communication, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple matters with hard deadlines independently.
- Must work on-site in the San Francisco office five days a week.
Nice to have
- Experience with credit card issuing, co-branded card programs, CFPB portal complaints, or partner-bank complaint handling.
- Background in disputes, fraud, or servicing operations.
- Experience building or maturing a complaint management program.
- CRCM or another consumer compliance certification.
- Workflow automation experience and familiarity with AI tools.
