TL;DR
Senior Manager, Machine Learning Engineering (AI): Building scalable data infrastructure, MLOps platforms, annotation pipelines, and production systems for computer vision, LLM, VLM, and agentic AI solutions with an accent on auditable data governance, distributed processing, and low-latency model deployment. Focus on leading data and ML infrastructure teams, productionizing autonomous workflow automation, and designing reliable systems for personalization and targeted advertising.
Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; onsite at least four days per week
Base salary: $200,000–$250,000 annually

What you will do
- Lead the technical vision and execution of data engineering, annotation pipelines, ML infrastructure, and agentic AI deployment.
- Build scalable, compliant, and auditable data infrastructure for computer vision and AI pricing use cases.
- Develop data engineering pipelines and LLM-in-the-loop annotation workflows to accelerate model iteration.
- Own the MLOps lifecycle, including distributed training, model registries, low-latency inference, availability, and observability.
- Productionize LLM, VLM, and agentic AI systems for enterprise workflow automation.
- Partner with engineering leaders, product and hardware teams, and external vendors on roadmaps and data quality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in data and machine learning engineering, including enterprise-scale ETL pipelines and data governance.
- 5+ years of leadership and management experience, ideally managing other managers.
- MS or PhD in computer science or a quantitative discipline.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, cloud-native data storage and processing, SQL, and Python.
- Experience building data and evaluation pipelines and deploying agentic AI solutions using LLMs or VLMs.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch and computer vision systems such as object detection, tracking, and segmentation.

- Experience managing large-scale datasets and database tools.
- Experience deploying scalable and reliable ML services to the cloud.
