What you will do
- Recruit, motivate, lead, and manage highly technical engineering teams of 20–60 people.
- Deliver online security and machine learning products at scale while maintaining code quality, security, availability, and development velocity.
- Translate business and technology requirements across product, engineering, customer, and sales functions.
- Define automation and instrumentation strategies, improve observability, and automate break-fix processes.
- Oversee architecture, go-to-market strategies, client acquisition capabilities, and product delivery.
- Establish effective hiring and onboarding strategies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience leading engineering teams of 20–60 people.
- Strong background in security products and machine learning.
- Knowledge of Python, NodeJS, and Go or Rust.
- Experience with DevOps, systems integration, high-availability development, strong SLAs, and test-driven design for large-scale internet-facing systems.
- Experience designing distributed systems on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, including queue-first architectures and sharding.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated expertise in mapping architecture to business and product needs.
