Data Analyst (Analista de Datos) - Hybrid

Location: Hybrid in Aguascalientes, Mexico, or Arauca, Colombia. Hybrid work includes time in the office, customer interactions or visits, and working from home; office presence is expected during ramp-up or when required by the leader.

What you will do

• Design and maintain dashboards and reports that support critical business decisions.
• Analyze data deeply to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for product and operational improvements.
• Partner with data engineers and data scientists to maintain data integrity and pipeline quality.
• Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and accelerate insight delivery.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, narrative-driven insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Working proficiency in English is required.
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong SQL skills for database manipulation and querying large datasets.
• Professional experience extracting actionable insights from raw data.
• Understanding of descriptive statistics and exploratory modeling concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase or similar BI platforms, with strong attention to data quality.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in using AI tools to automate workflows.
• Basic experience with Databricks and ETL or ELT processes.
• Python experience for advanced statistical analysis.
• Basic Portuguese proficiency or interest in learning Portuguese.
