Trading Infrastructure Specialist – Graduate Programme (DevOps/Linux)

Location: London, Montreal, Hong Kong, New York, or Singapore

Salary: Minimum base salary of $100,000 per year if located in New York, plus potential discretionary bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Join an 18-month rotation programme within the Trading Infrastructure Support Team.
• Troubleshoot core systems, automate operational tasks, and triage, manage, and resolve incidents.
• Work with service owners on operational issues and support observability, workload schedulers, databases, and Linux systems.
• Contribute to automation using Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging pipelines.
• Document issues and update runbooks for the wider support team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic Linux knowledge and familiarity with Python.
• Understanding of hardware infrastructure fundamentals.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, assess competing priorities, and stay organised.
• Curiosity about systems and a desire to learn and continuously improve performance.
• Good communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to containers, Kubernetes, virtual machines, or distributed storage.
• Understanding of modern telemetry tooling.
• Interest in high-performance computing, schedulers, or CI/CD systems.
