Team Lead Engineering (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid, Ghent, Belgium; regular presence in the Ghent office is required.

What you will do

• Lead engineers working on the order management and invoicing domain, from order entry through final invoicing.
• Organize team work, plan allocation, manage dependencies, and own delivery execution.
• Guide technical decisions, surface risks early, and facilitate pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Coach team members, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to shape and sequence the roadmap.
• Translate roadmap priorities into clear execution plans covering scope and dependencies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading an engineering team in both process and technical dimensions.
• Strong technical depth and the ability to work beyond a narrow specialty.
• Experience with planning, delivery ownership, feedback, coaching, and team development.
• Pragmatic, ownership-driven judgment when balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Ability to work from the Ghent office regularly in an office-first environment.
