What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end manufacturing process for integrating autonomy hardware into Class 3–7 trucks.
  • Develop and maintain assembly procedures, inspection checklists, and documentation for consistent, traceable builds.
  • Collaborate with design, integration, production, and contract manufacturing teams to resolve build issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Define and execute quality assurance processes, including inspection plans, failure analysis, defect tracking, first article inspections, and in-process audits.
  • Analyze quality data and product metrics to identify systemic issues and improve reliability and throughput.
  • Perform tests and inspections on raw materials, parts, and finished trucks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or a related role in automotive, aerospace, or hardware technology.
  • Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, harness routing, sensor installation, and system-level testing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process control, quality standards, and root cause analysis tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with QA and documentation tools, PLM systems, spreadsheets, and issue trackers such as JIRA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; comfortable working in an on-site production environment.
