What you will do
- Plan, design, execute, and document automated system integration tests.
- Support developers and end users during user acceptance testing.
- Execute smoke, regression, acceptance, functional, non-functional, and system performance tests.
- Investigate software defects and performance issues in the Fab 1 manufacturing environment.
- Create test plans, automated test suites, bug reports, and software change requests.
- Drive an automation-focused test strategy and participate in design reviews and usability testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on understanding of the software development life cycle across design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Advanced knowledge of QA methodologies, test strategy definition, risk-based testing, quality metrics, and functional test case design.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with development, product, and operations teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and German are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with test case management, defect tracking, and reporting tools.
- Experience with test automation tools and Ruby or other scripting languages.
- Semiconductor industry experience.
- ISTQB Foundation certification.
