Technical Lead (Unity)

Location: Hybrid, based in Paris, Istanbul, or Lisbon; relocation support available.

What you will do

• Partner with the General Manager to structure, recruit, and onboard the technical team.
• Define and build the technical foundation of a new casual puzzle game from prototype through worldwide launch.
• Create the switcher engine, level editor, and foundations for future live operations.
• Establish engineering practices, team rituals, and collaboration processes.
• Set the long-term technical strategy and ensure scalability for the studio and game.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, product rollouts, technical quality, hands-on coding, and player-feedback-driven iteration.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Technical Director or Technical Lead on casual games.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with Unity.
• Successful experience developing both new and live top-tier mobile casual games.
• Experience creating, growing, and leading engineering teams.
• Backend development or client-server interaction experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial skills, with the ability to switch between management and hands-on coding.
