Sr. Onboarding Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Scope customer environments and establish secure data ingestion pipelines through APIs, log shippers, and connectors.
• Resolve complex database field mappings, JSON/SQL transformations, schema issues, and ingestion pipeline defects.
• Validate telemetry quality and field alignment so the AI engine receives structured, actionable data.
• Help enterprise security teams provide hypotheses and threat intelligence, troubleshoot AI output anomalies, and tune model parameters.
• Build customer workflow automation with webhooks, APIs, scripting tools, and SOAR platforms to improve alert triage and incident response.
• Lead technical enablement covering AI findings, threat hunting, and detection engineering, including drafting, backtesting, and deploying custom rules.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical onboarding, solutions engineering, or technical account management for enterprise IT or security operations.
• Ability to manage an 8-week customer onboarding engagement, improve onboarding tasks, and surface risks to Customer Success and Product teams.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools, webhooks, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting database field mappings, JSON/SQL transformations, schema validation, and data pipelines.
• Experience with SIEM, XDR, EDR, threat hunting, or detection engineering frameworks such as SIGMA, YARA, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Knowledge of enterprise log management systems, Agile and Customer Success tools, cloud infrastructure, VPC architectures, security groups, and cloud network routing.
