What you will do
- Support inventory planning and track material availability for semiconductor manufacturing requirements.
- Analyze forecasted versus actual material consumption and identify root causes of shortage, excess, and supply variance issues.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Central Planning, Buyer Work Center, Sourcing & Procurement, and other stakeholders to resolve supply concerns.
- Prepare supply reports, exception-monitoring updates, and risk assessment materials for supply continuity and inventory optimization.
- Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must remain enrolled in an accredited degree program throughout the internship and be in good academic standing.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
Nice to have
- Previous related internship or co-op experience.
- Leadership experience in the workplace, academic projects, or competitions.
- Project management skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and execute practical solutions.
- Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
- Familiarity with inventory management, demand planning, material requirements planning, logistics operations, and Microsoft Excel.
