Consultant (Technical, TS/SCI with Polygraph)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; onsite five days per week. SCIF work is required.

Salary: $75,000–$175,000 USD base salary annually, plus potential government clearance differential and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions on the hirify.global platform.
• Work with customers to understand business processes and gather functional and technical requirements.
• Build relational data models, database integrations, APIs, and web services throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Identify AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative AI tools.
• Collaborate with client technical teams and business users in an agile environment.
• Enable customers to independently build and adopt process applications.

Requirements

• Active government clearance at the Top Secret level or higher, without limitations, is required.
• Ability and willingness to maintain an active TS:SCI clearance and work in cleared facilities and SCIFs.
• At least 1 year of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
• B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, data modeling, and SQL.
• Knowledge of software testing practices, automated test suites, continuous integration, APIs, JDBC, and web services; willingness to travel up to 20% annually.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, application integration, developer tools, governance, and elastic containers.
