What you will do

• Collect first-person human behavior data using head-mounted recording devices in home, retail, and manufacturing environments.
• Operate robotic systems through VR interfaces to perform complex manipulation tasks.
• Capture multi-modal data, including joint states, torques, and gripper status, while maintaining low-latency execution.
• Follow recording specifications covering resolution, frame rate, orientation, field of view, camera calibration, and sensor synchronization.
• Inspect recordings for shaking, occlusions, focus failures, and other quality issues.
• Format and upload datasets in accordance with required protocols, including MCAP and HDF5 formats.

Requirements

• 0–1 years of experience and current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex technical recording guidelines.
• Comfort using smartphones, VR hardware such as Meta Quest or HTC Vive, and digital accessories.
• Basic understanding of video recording parameters and camera calibration.
• Ability to perform tasks naturally while maintaining consistent pacing for imitation learning.
• Strictly follow site-specific safety protocols and avoid recording personally identifiable information or sensitive/prohibited scenarios.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and the Linux command line.
• Familiarity with ROS2, LeRobot, or AI data-labeling workflows.
• Strong interest in embodied AI and robotics.
