Senior IT Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead investigations and response to complex cyber security incidents across cloud, endpoint, identity, network, email and application environments.
• Improve Security Operations through enhanced detections, playbooks, automation and operational processes.
• Own and enhance security controls including Data Loss Prevention and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Assess vulnerabilities, prioritise remediation and collaborate with technology teams to reduce cyber risk.
• Provide security assurance for projects and technology changes, embedding security by design.
• Produce security metrics, communicate recommendations to stakeholders and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• Significant experience in cyber security, information security or security operations.
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management and Endpoint Detection and Response technologies.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, MFA, Conditional Access and Privileged Access.
• Experience with DLP, vulnerability management, security hardening, threat detection and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework.
• Strong communication, stakeholder influence, strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM or CISA certification.
