What you will do

• Define, design, develop, and implement custom software solutions on the hirify.global platform.
• Work across the full project life cycle with commercial clients in an agile environment.
• Analyze business processes and technical needs, then launch relational data models in production.
• Develop APIs and integrations with multiple systems, including REST, SOAP, JDBC, and web services.
• Collaborate with client technical teams and business users throughout the software development life cycle.
• Help clients become self-sufficient in building process applications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
• Object-oriented programming experience, relational database and data modeling knowledge, and SQL skills.
• Experience gathering functional and technical requirements and working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of software testing practices, test-driven development, automated test suites, and continuous integration.
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Bilingual Japanese and English communication skills required. Willingness to travel approximately 20% for customer engagements.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, AI, analytics, machine learning, Google Cloud, application integration, developer tools, management and governance, or elastic containers.
