Location: Fully onsite in Long Beach, California, United States
Salary: $85,000β$105,000 for Test Engineer 1; $100,000β$120,000 for Test Engineer 2 per year

What you will do
- Own test strategies, including requirements verification, procedure development, and execution.
- Author and review test plans, procedures, readiness reports, and compliance matrices.
- Set up test equipment and hardware, collect and analyze data, and prepare test reports.
- Identify anomalies, support root cause investigations, and address nonconformances.
- Develop testing system requirements and operational manuals across thermal, structural, electrical, and fluids disciplines.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, technicians, customers, regulatory bodies, and internal and external stakeholders during design reviews and Test Readiness Reviews.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or another ITAR-eligible status is required.
- Bachelorβs degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience in hardware test engineering for aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability systems.
- Experience handling, operating, and testing flight hardware safely.
- Strong communication, leadership, technical documentation, data collection, and data analysis skills.
Nice to have
- Masterβs or higher degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Knowledge of environmental and performance test methodologies and standards.
- Experience with data acquisition, test automation, and scripting using LabVIEW, Python, or MATLAB.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
