Senior Firmware Engineer (Embedded/C)

What you will do

• Develop embedded software for the hirify.global Archer platform, including flight control and radio link code.
• Develop firmware for microcontrollers used in FPV drones and support electronics.
• Debug hardware and firmware issues using embedded development and diagnostic tools.
• Support requirements development through reviews, feasibility analysis, and architecture work.
• Create test cases, review test plans, and execute firmware and hardware tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong C development skills for embedded applications.
• Hands-on experience with embedded communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet.
• Experience developing bare-metal or RTOS firmware.
• Experience integrating sensors and other external components.
• Experience with Git and development workflows, plus hardware tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARM Cortex-M processors, such as STM32.
• Experience with FPV drone software including Betaflight, ExpressLRS, PX4, or ArduPilot.
