Senior Frontend Engineer (L5) - Banking

What you will do

• Own the frontend technical direction for banking onboarding, product surfaces, and unified banking and payments experiences.
• Design and build a Banking frontend SDK with reusable hooks, UI components, documentation, and framework integrations.
• Shape the shared component library and micro-frontend approach across product surfaces.
• Define frontend coding, component, observability, and test-automation standards.
• Partner with product and design to turn complex flows into coherent user experiences.
• Mentor frontend engineers and help establish engineering standards for hiring.

Requirements

• Significant senior- or staff-level experience owning complex frontend web applications in production.
• Deep expertise in frontend architecture, component and design systems, and state management at scale.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, and correctness.
• Fluency in a modern TypeScript and React stack.
• Excellent technical communication and the ability to lead cross-team initiatives without formal authority.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and shipping SDKs or libraries for external consumption.
• Experience with micro-frontends or Module Federation.
• Experience with contract-driven frontend development, generated types, design systems, frontend observability, or end-to-end test automation.
